Castle, a Disability Employment Service and NDIS provider, came to us with a clear brief for what they wanted. With a 27 year history, 17 locations across NSW, 194 staff and supporting over 2,500 participants they were comfortable with the general direction of their brand however it was lacking meaning and required a professional makeover.

Solution

Sometimes evolution is more effective than revolution — our brand identity and logo refresh for Castle aimed to keep the integrity of the previous brandmark whilst still being modernised.

We flipped the logo so it now faces forward instead of backwards, updated the icon to resemble the opening pages a book, (representative of both learning and new chapters in the life of participants), and choose a modern sans serif typeface for maximum accessibility.
