Rebranding Little Pines Early Childhood Education and Care.
When Sydney based early childhood centre Little Pines were preparing to open their second location, they approach Shorthand to help refresh their look before entering a new market. Unfortunately they had fallen into a common trap with their previous brand identity by aiming it at children rather than parents — the decision makers. We were tasked to develop a new professional look and feel that appealed to parents first, without alienating children.
Our solution features a new logo that hides a little pine tree inside a pencil, representing development and education. The symbol is sophisticated while remaining grounded with a fun sense of discovery that parents can share with their children.
