Designing Look Hear’s 2015 visual identity.

Background

Since 2009, Newcastle’s Look Hear Festival has evolved from a series of casual design talks to a collection of high-scale events showcasing some of the world’s finest creatives. We were invited to design the visual identity for the 2015 event.

Solution

As the festival matured, its identity needed to as well. Breaking the tradition of an illustrative approach, we played on the event’s name — using abstract arrows to point in the direction of information. Prompting you to ‘look here’.
